You will apply at the courthouse in any county in SC. Marriage licenses are issued Monday - Friday between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm. Hours may vary so please check with the individual county.
Both parties must appear in the Probate Court to obtain the license, along with the following:
Identification that includes proof of age.(driver's license, passport, military ID, state issued ID card)
AND....
Social Security Card, or other legal document that verifies name and social security number.
